In the 1980s, Ps. Leonardo A Sjiamsuri was actively involved in the movement of God amongst the university students. His involvement include teaching as well as the prophetic ministries. God’s grace has enabled him to be a trainer who imparts the seed of the Word as well as his spiritual life to his trainees.

The church experienced leadership transition in March 2006. Since then, Ps. Leonardo A. Sjiamsuri has led Glory of Zion Church - Light to the Nations (GKS L2DN) as its Senior Pastor. Aside from his role as the Senior Pastor, he is also known as the spiritual father or the father of the house. Now, the church is led by a board of pastors, namely Ps. Royanto Jonathan, Ps. Hendra Rusli and Ps. Lewi Katiandagho.

At the beginning of his leadership, Ps. Leonardo A. Sjiamsuri had to align the spiritual life, mentality, thought patterns, church life as well as doctrines and ministries of GKS L2DN as it is his desire to build a church that is in accordance to the apostolic patterns shown in the New Testament. Although the transition to such a church is still work-in-progress, many of congregation members and leaders in the church have been able to re-align themselves to cross over victoriously. This has resulted in the church becoming stronger and being built on solid prophetic and apostolic foundation. GKS L2DN is built on Kingdom values and principles according to apostolic blueprint.

Ps. Leonardo received spiritual impartation, teaching, doctrine, understanding, and insight not only from Holy Spirit, but also from Christian books and men of God, especially apostle Jonathan David from Muar, and apostle Tunde Bakare from Nigeria.
